Oktoberfest

While visiting breweries and pubs is fun, there is nothing quite like the huge party in Muchen (Munich) Germany every year! Oktoberfest, often called Wiesn for short, is the annual celebration of the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig, later to become King Ludwig I, to Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen. Tim and Beth have been to the Theresienwiese (field, or meadow, of Therese) twice. The first time during the construction and the second during the party. The party is a lot more fun!
